Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton, an English actress, is well known for her roles in films such as Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and ?Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters. She was born in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater London. She began her career after studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art when she made her film debut with a supporting role on the comedy movie 'St. Trinian's'. She also appeared in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace that came out shortly afterwards, she played in a role of support. It became a hit commercially and was met with moderate reviews. In the following film, she played her role as the female protagonist in the action film 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time'. She was an extra in the French movie "Orphan.' Arterton has been nominated for many awards during her professional career, one of which was she was awarded the Empire Award for the best Newcomer in 'Quantum of Solace' and the "Evening Standard Theatre Award' in recognition of her part in the musical 'Made in Dagenham'.
