Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, actress, American stage and screen actor and producer. Her most well-known work is as an actress in films for her performances on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She earned an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis, is an American actor and producer who has been in the theater and television as and is present in both the film and theater screen. She began her career as an actress in theatre before going on to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. Her most famous role was Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico, and also appeared on BET's epic drama The Book of Negroes. In both roles, she was praised by critics and received various nominations and awards, including her first award, the Television Critics Choice Award for the best Actress. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut in The Tempest as Ariel. She has performed in Broadway in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Her film career is highlighted by her roles in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. Also, she is well-known for her part in ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
